此系以人手指之长短分贫贱富贵,名曰量手相。实则与摸骨相等,只凭几句秘诀以应付之。查各处操斯术者,多系少识文义之人,全无排场设备,仅带小尺一根,长约二尺许之丝线一条,兀立于大商店门首侧旁,或行人必经之处,将画手形多只之布幅悬挂墙上,旁贴相手诀。专量手指之长短,以定人生之荣辱,其纹理部位等,鲜有谈及者,可称为最简单之相法。兹将口诀八条照录于后,幸勿仅据此以相人也。

1.五指长九寸三分者,大富大贵。

2.九寸二分者,可作富家翁。

3.九寸一分者,小康而有声于社会。

4。九寸零者,享妻财子禄。

5.八寸九分者,衣食无亏,惟财来财去,终难积蓄耳。

6.八寸八分者,寄人篱下,得免穷困。
