Exploring the content of face-to-face diagnosis in Chinese medicine

The modern face-to-face diagnosis method is developed under the guidance of the theory of Chinese medicine and combined with the theory of biological holography. Therefore, the distribution of the corresponding organs in the face and the method of diagnosis are different from those of traditional Chinese medicine. Abnormal changes in the body may occur before or after facial changes appear. Examination of the face can reveal changes in bone shape, muscle tension, elasticity, and contractility, as well as swelling, wrinkles, scabs, defects, changes in facial skin color, congestion, and pain. If you want to know which organ is diseased, you only need to look at the part of the face to see if there are any abnormal changes mentioned above. If there is, it means that the corresponding organ is diseased. The general judgment is as follows:

1. If there are wrinkles, spots and skin color changes on the face, it indicates that the corresponding organs in the area are out of balance.

2. If there are small bumps, congestion, or swelling on the face, it indicates that the corresponding organs at the site are infected by bacteria and invade the blood.

3. Black eye sockets indicate disease of the kidneys, ovaries or bladder.

4. Yellow scleral stains indicate liver disease.

Modern face-to-face diagnosis methods are simple and easy to grasp, and the diagnosis accuracy rate is also high. It is the main method of modern Chinese medicine to diagnose diseases.

Modern face examination research

Because face-to-face diagnosis is of great value in the diagnosis of diseases in Chinese medicine, it has not only attracted the attention of many modern Chinese medicine practitioners, but the results of further in-depth research on face-to-face diagnosis have important value for clinical diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

1. Facial Crab Claw Patterns and Diseases

According to clinical observations, there is a certain pattern in the appearance of crab claw patterns on the face and the main disease. Heart disease is mainly caused by cloth patterns in the temporal area; liver disease, liver and kidney disease is mainly in the nose and cheek area; lung disease is mainly in the zygomatic area; kidney disease is mainly in the zygomatic area. The buccal area is mainly; the spleen disease lacks specificity. After observing lung cancer, obstructive pulmonary emphysema, coronary heart disease, cerebrovascular accident, hypertension, etc., it is found that the appearance and depth of facial crab claw lines have certain reference value for diagnosis and treatment.

2. Facial color diagnosis and critical illness

Facial color diagnosis is not only of diagnostic value for chronic diseases, but also for critical illnesses. For example, the complexion of patients with heart failure is dark, the complexion of those with mitral valve stenosis and insufficiency of heart disease is chlorosis, and the complexion is reddish; the complexion of cirrhosis and liver cancer is very dark; the complexion of patients with chronic nephritis and uremia is dark and yellow.

In short, the color is deep, heavy and dull, it is mainly for internal disease, serious disease, and chronic disease; the light and luster is obvious for external disease, light disease, and new disease; those between dull and bright, the disease is not very bad; if the color is diseased If the cloud is flying, the disease will be healed; if the gathering is stagnant, the disease will become incurable.

3. Stomach and gallbladder disease and color diagnosis

According to clinical observations, the faces of patients with gastroptosis are mostly blue-brown and bean-shaped. The depth of the pigment is related to the length of the disease, and those with darker color are chronic diseases. In patients with cholecystitis, the wings of the nose are light yellow or dark green, bean-like, and oval in shape.

4. Pediatric disease and sex diagnosis

Because of the rapid pulse in children, it is difficult to diagnose the disease based on it. The main help is to check the color, such as red face and excessive tears, tears are the prodromal symptoms of measles; blue face is predominantly convulsive; Diarrhea and vomiting benefit; yellow face is due to spleen deficiency chronic injury or damp-heat content. In addition, when children suffer from acute abdomen, the face is gray; children with severe diphtheria are waxy pale.

The heaven of the face is the reaction zone of the human head and facial organs. If this area appears diseased, it means that the head or face has disease. The sky is straight down, and the area above the eyebrow area is called "queshang", which is the reaction zone of the human throat. If the disease appears in this area, it reflects the disease of the organs and tissues in the throat area. The area between the two eyebrows is called "the center of the eyebrows" and "the center of the eyebrows". It is the external manifestation area of the lungs. If the disease appears in this area, it means lung disease. Straight down from the que, is the root of the nose, also called "mountain root", or "lower pole" in ancient times. This place is the external imaging area of the heart. When the disease appears here, it reflects the internal disease of the heart.

The part straight down from the lower pole was called "nasal column" by ancient physicians, and "longevity" by acquaintances. The nasal column should be flat and straight, and should not be knotted, deviated or distorted. The corresponding internal organ of the nasal column is the liver. Liver and gallbladder are the inner and outer organs of each other, so the left and right areas of longevity are the reaction areas of gall bladder; below the longevity is the tip of the nose area. Ancient physicians called this area "Mianwang" and "Mingtang". The Xiangjia family referred to it as "Zhantou", "Saturn" and "Zhongyue". The position of the quasi-head is in the center of the entire face. Its five elements are soil, and its internal organs are the spleen. The left and right sides of the quasi-head are the nose wings. Ancient doctors called them "Fangshang", while xiangjia called them "Lantai" and "Tingwei". The spleen and stomach are the inner and outer organs of each other, and the spleen is inside. They are outside the stomach, so they are the outer anti-correspondence area of the stomach and intestines.

The outer side of the nose is the inner side of what Xiangjia called the "Ling Wings". This area has the Yingxiang acupoint used for acupuncture. This area is the corresponding area of the large intestine. It is still in the center of the face on the cross section. It is called "Central". The four internal organs of lung, heart, liver, and spleen are in the abdomen, all in the peritoneum, and their external reaction areas are all located in the nose area on the midline of the face. Only the kidney, because it is anatomically located on both sides of the spine in the posterior peritoneum, its corresponding area on the face is also far away from the midline, and is distributed on the horizontal line of the large intestine area outside the nasolabial fold. This is "the person who holds the large intestine, the kidney is also". The kidney is opposite to the navel, and the corresponding area of the navel on the face is located below the kidney area of the cheeks. The upper part of the horizontal line of the nasal alignment head and the lower part of the biliary zone correspond to the small intestine. This is "the one above the noodle king, the small intestine". Below the midline of the quasi-head is the "human center" area, which corresponds to the bladder and the genital area where the offspring is reproduced. This is "below the face king, the bladder is also". The subsection refers to the internal and external genitalia of men and women. The xiangjia also pointed out that “people who are ordinary and do not bear beards have many masters and no children. Women are also good at childbirth.

The above focuses on the corresponding reaction zone of the internal organs on the face. A few writers of modern Chinese medicine in China may have incorrect explanations because they have not been passed on by the teacher or have not been verified by their own internal strength when marking and interpreting the parts. The attention of researchers should be aroused, so as to avoid misrepresentation and misunderstandings, and shame the diagnostic skill of traditional Chinese medicine.

Observing the face of the disease. Parents live with their children every day, and it is a very convenient way to check the health of their children through facial observation. There is a popular saying that it is mainly to observe the complexion of the face. Chinese medicine practitioners say: "You must observe the color when you see the doctor, and you must observe the face when you see the color." Normal people's complexion is slightly yellow, slightly ruddy and shiny. Abnormal color when sick is a manifestation of disease changes, called disease color. Inspection visits are of certain significance for observing the health of children. In TCM theory, the facial color is divided into five colors: blue, red, yellow, white, and black. Each color has a different disease.

(1) Facial bruising: Generally speaking, facial bruising is a manifestation of hypoxia. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the qi and blood are blocked and the meridians are blocked. It is more common in cold syndrome, pain, and convulsions. When a child has a high fever, the face appears blue, which is easier to see around the nose, eyebrows, and lips. This is a sign of convulsions. Hypoxia caused by any reason, such as suffocation, congenital heart disease, pulmonary heart disease, heart failure, etc., may appear bluish complexion. When stomach or intestinal spasm pain, colic caused by biliary tract disease attacks, it can also make the complexion blue.

(2) The complexion is red: it is caused by blood filling the skin veins. If the blood gets hot, it is fine, and the veins are used to fill the blood, so the red color is more common in the heat syndrome. However, there are differences between actual heat and asthenia heat. The positive symptoms are red, and the face is often flushed; the face of the deficiency syndrome often reappears after a long illness, such as tuberculosis and redness of the cheeks in the afternoon. Red color is seen on the cheeks and cheeks, which is a sign of heart disease. When gas is poisoned, the face will be cherry red. If the complexion is flushed, with thirst, dry tongue and even convulsions, it is common in high fever diseases caused by acute infection.

(3) Yellow complexion: yellow complexion can be divided into chlorosis complexion and bright yellow complexion. For children with yellow complexion, the first thing to distinguish is whether the yellowing is caused by improper eating or the yellowing caused by the disease. Such as excessive eating carrots, or a child child eating orange juice, paranasal will be yellow, indigestion after subside. If it is not caused by eating to cause yellowing, the complexion is chlorosis, and the spleen and stomach are mostly weak. Yellow face is also more common in jaundice. For example, the sclera and the whole body are yellow, mostly jaundice hepatitis, biliary stones and so on. In addition, 2-5 days after the birth of a newborn, the skin may turn yellow, which will subside within a week, which is called physiological jaundice. If the jaundice does not go away after a week or the jaundice reappears after it goes away, this is a disease phenomenon.

(4) White complexion: The skin of healthy children is white and rosy and delicate. If the face is like white wax without rosy color, it is mostly anemia. For example, pale complexion can be seen in blood loss, severe abdominal pain, chills due to external cold, parasitic diseases, blood diseases, shock, etc. caused by various reasons. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that pale complexion belongs to deficiency syndrome and cold syndrome. Pale and haggard, lips pale as blood deficiency.

(5) Dark complexion: Dark complexion is mostly a sign of chronic diseases. People suffering from adrenal insufficiency, chronic cardiopulmonary insufficiency, chronic renal insufficiency, and liver cirrhosis may turn dark. In addition, long-term use of certain drugs, such as arsenic, can also cause varying degrees of darkening of the complexion, but it returns to normal after stopping the drug. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that dark complexion is mostly a manifestation of severe cold or blood stasis.

When looking at your complexion, you should pay attention to distinguishing the normal color of the guest color and the diseased color. The guest color in Chinese medicine refers to the change of healthy children's face with the seasons and climate, or when it changes from exercise, mood changes, sun exposure, emotional excitement, or crying. Can cause temporary facial flushing; strong capillary contraction caused by stimuli such as cold and panic can make the complexion pale.

It should be noted that seeing the clinic is an external phenomenon of body or disease changes, and these phenomena can only be used as a guide for diagnosis, and other diagnostic methods must be combined to arrive at a correct diagnosis.
