Xiangshu Treasures: Pei Du and Thich Nhat Hanh master poster

One day, Pei Du walked to the street, passed a monastery, and saw that Thich Nhat Hanh was taking care of others. Pei Du waited until everyone had left before asking his own face . Thich Nhat Hanh has been familiar with it for a long time and said: "You are born with a phoenix. Not only do you have no hope of obtaining fame in this life, but you also have an out-of-sight. The entrance is a kind of begging for food on the street and starving to death! I think you don't take the exam!"

When Pei Du heard this, he was very sad, and he was downcast all day long, and he was listless even in teaching.

A few days later, Pei Du went to Xiangshan Temple for a stroll, and saw a woman kneeling in front of the Buddha in the temple, muttering prayers. After the prayers, she hurriedly left. Pei Du saw a baggage on the desk. He untied it and looked at it. It was a very valuable item, a jade belt and two rhino belts. He thought: This must be owned by the woman just now, so he sat and waited for the owner.

At four o'clock in the afternoon, the woman was sweating profusely, panting, and hurriedly entered the door, scanned the desk, and couldn't help crying.

Pei Du approached her and asked her, the woman cried and said, "My father is very ill and his wealth is exhausted. Yesterday, I invited a famous doctor and his improvement was a little bit. So this morning, I rushed to my relative's house and borrowed a jade belt to prepare for detention. Borrowing money and doing medical expenses. I walked through this temple and went to the temple to pray. Unexpectedly, I was in a hurry and forgot to take the jade belt. When I arrived at Dian, I found out that the jade belt was missing. I have no money, and my father must not be able to survive. There are still mothers and younger siblings waiting for me. Raise, I don't know what to do!" After speaking, he cried again.

Pei Dufeng restored the object, and the woman thanked her and left.

On the way home, Pei Du met Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. After walking a few steps away, Thich Nhat Hanh called Pei Du to turn around and said to him, "You must have made a great Yinde. I see your appearance. The snake entrance becomes a jade band pattern. Not only will you not starve to death, but you will also There are boundless blessings, it may come and go!"

Pei Du was afraid that Thich Nhat Hanh would be sarcastic, and replied, "I love to talk and laugh! How can the master speak inconsistent?

Thich Nhat Hanh replied: "A seven-foot-long body is not as good as a one-foot-long face, a one-foot-long face is not as good as a three-inch-long nose, and a three-inch-long nose is not as good as a little heart!"

Pei Du smiled and said, "How do people feel?"

Thich Nhat Hanh replied: "To know the meaning of the sky, you must take it from the clouds, you must know what is in your heart, and you must discern the gods in your eyes. You have accumulated yin and virtue, your eyes are not floating, the purple qi penetrates your eyes, and the mouth lines are longer than the part of Pichi, and The beard becomes even more beautiful. If you do a yin virtue, the appearance on your face will change. You will definitely enjoy the extremely expensive Fu Lu!"

So Pei Du told Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh that he had just picked up the jade belt at Xiangshan Temple, and Zen Master also praised his good deeds.

That year, Pei Du was admitted to the Jinshi. Because of the prosperous official career, after more than ten years, he was promoted to the "University of the Doctorate" (equivalent to today's Deputy Executive Dean), and soon he was promoted to the Prime Minister. His promotion to Prime Minister has been very tortuous:

At first, Pei Du was sent to Caizhou as an envoy to the army on the order of the court. After returning to the court, Pei Du presented a letter to the court to capture the traitor.

Rebels such as Wang Chengzong and Li Shidao planned to obstruct Caizhou’s reinforcements, so they lurked in the capital, stabbed to death the powerful ministers in power, and killed the prime minister Wu Yuanheng. They attacked Pei Du with their swords three times. The first sword cut off the laces, the second sword stabbed Pei Du’s back, but only cut through his underwear, and the third sword slightly stabbed Pei Du’s head. It happened that he was wearing a felt hat, so the sword wound was not deep. When the traitor was chasing Pei Du, Pei Du's follower Wang Yi grabbed the traitor and called out. The traitor turned around and cut off Wang Yi's hand with a knife, so that Pei Du could escape. Because Pei Du escaped too hastily, he accidentally fell into the gully. The traitor thought that Pei Du was dead, so he left.

The emperor said: "Pei Du can escape from danger, it is all God's will (in fact, it is his blessing)!" So he ordered Pei Du to be "Huaixi recruiting envoys", and put down the civil strife in Huaixi, and named him "Jin Kingdom". "Gong" is often ordered to go to border countries. The ruler of Siyi would definitely ask about Pei Du's age and appearance. This shows how much China and the Yi people respect and admire him!

Pei Du served the four emperors and always showed good morals. He has five sons, all of whom were given knighthoods by the court.
