What is lifeline

The lifeline starts on the radial side of the palm, starting at 1/2 of the line connecting the palm finger folds of the index finger and the palm finger folds of the thumb, and extends in an arc, parabolic shape to the transverse wrist line, and the arc does not exceed the vertical line under the middle line of the middle finger. It is normal for this line to be slightly thick, clear and continuous, and rosy in color. The lifeline on the palm of most people intersects with the wisdom line.

The lifeline is also called the thenar curve, the thenar parabola, the ground line, and the self-line, which mainly reflects the human physique, energy, ability, health status and the occurrence and changes of physical diseases.

Lifeline has a close relationship with longevity. Some people think that the longer the line, the longer the life span. This is not the case. The life span represented by the length of the lifeline is the original vitality, that is, the life span determined by genetic factors. Therefore, a long lifeline means that you have vitality, and if you take good care of your body, you can live a long life. If you don’t cherish your life, you may die of diseases and accidents, or even commit suicide. If the lifeline is short, it means that there is no inheritance of longevity, the body's resistance is weak, and it is easy to get sick. But if you have a good living environment and protect your body, you can live longer. Therefore, in judging the length of life, you cannot just look at the length of lifeline.
