The distance between adjacent houses should be appropriate, not jagged

The distance between adjacent buildings should be able to meet the two major requirements of sunshine and ventilation. The spacing varies with factors such as latitude, topography, residential height and length, and residential orientation.

It can usually be estimated based on the minimum requirement that the room has more than two hours of sunshine around noon in winter. Generally, the ideal requirement is that the distance between front and rear is equal to the height of the building, and the distance between side by side is equal to half of the height of the building. For example, if a 6-story house is 18 meters high, the distance between the front and back is 18 meters, and the distance between side by side is 9 meters.
