Is Sanlao Village the No.1 Fengshui Village?

Sanlao Village in Xingguo County, Jiangxi Province, is the hometown of Yang Junsong, the famous Fengshui master, and is known as the "Birthplace of Geomancy Culture" and "The First Village of Fengshui in China."

Yang Junsong, an official in charge of the country's feng shui work, fled to Jiangxi because of the Huang Chao army's attack on Chang'an in the Tang Dynasty and discovered this inaccessible place. This is a fertile basin, surrounded by mountains and water, with a long pinnacle in the middle, a tall pine tree at the edge of the basin, and a round boulder under the tree. Yang Junsong believes that the entire basin is a huge compass. There are pinnacles in the middle of the basin as pointers, and pine trees and boulders are the umbrellas and packages of Feng Shui. This is a suitable place for Feng Shui to live for generations. So he and his disciples Zeng Wenyuan and Liao Yu each built a hut, which became the earliest Sanliao Village.

When Zeng Wenyuan and his family moved to this time, Yang Yunsong personally gave him a home, and pointed out that his family had 38 prominent official positions. The Zeng and Liao families developed here into a large village with a population of 4,600. They inherited their feng shui family from generation to generation, and each generation has talented people with exquisite learning skills. As a result, teachers from the past generations came out in large numbers. There are about 24 national divisions and 72 masters in Sanliao Village. Among them, 36 are appointed by the emperor as doctors of the Qin Tianjian. The Ming Tombs, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, and the Great Wall are nine military fortresses. The construction of other buildings was supervised by the three masters of Fengshui.
