Northwest window, flat. Because the northwest is the stem position, the supreme position, it is best not to open the window. If it is necessary to open the window for daylighting and ventilation, open the window higher and smaller.

North window, flat. In summer, the south window is the air inlet for gentle breeze, and the north window is the air outlet, forming north-south convection; in winter, the north window becomes the entrance of cold air, so it is better to use closed windows that are easy to open and close.

Northeast window, fierce. The northeast back sun, with moisture, is the location where corruption occurs. In ancient times, it was called the "monster of the watch". If you have to open the window in this position, you should open it on the Yin's part, try to open it as small as possible, and preferably a closed window.
