What is Eight House Feng Shui

Ba Zhai Feng Shui strictly divides a house into eight parts. They are east, south, west, north, northeast, southeast, southwest, and northwest. Feng Shui theory believes that for some people, some of these directions are very auspicious, while others are unlucky. This needs to be determined by studying personal fate.

Eight houses are represented by the stem, red, li, tremor, xun, kan, gen, and kun of the Eight Diagrams (Houtian Eight Diagrams) respectively. The specific directions are as follows: Qian is northwest, Dui is due west, Li is due south, Zhen is due east, Sunda is southeast, Kan is due north, Gen is northeast, and Kun is southwest.

How to decide the direction of the house? It depends on the direction of the door. When we stand in the house, facing the door, the direction we are facing is "xiang", and the direction opposite to "xiang" is "sitting". For example, if the door faces west, the house sits on the east; if the door faces southeast, the house sits on the northwest; if the door faces northwest, the house sits on the southeast, and so on. The position of sitting and facing must be relative, no matter what the shape of the house is, there is no exception.

When we see where the house sits, we can know which trigram the house belongs to, that is, which house it belongs to. There are eight categories of these houses, namely:

1. The house in the east is the earthquake house, with the gate facing west.

2. The house in the southeast is the Xun Zhai, with the gate facing northwest.

3. Sitting in the south of the house is away from the house, with the gate facing north.

4. The house in the southwest is the Kun House, with the gate facing northeast.

5. The house in the west is the Dui Zhai, with the door facing east.

6. The house in the northwest is a dry house, with the gate facing southeast.

7. The house in the north is the Kan house, with the gate facing south.

8. The house in the northeast is Gen's house, with the gate facing southwest.

This is the eight house according to gossip. In the Eight Houses, it is divided into the East Four Houses and the West Four Houses. The East Four Houses are Zhenzhai (from east to west), Lizhai (from south to north), Xunzhai (from southeast to northwest), and Kanzhai (from north to south); Xisi Zhai is a dry house (from northwest). Fanming hexagrams belong to Zhen, Xun, Li, and Kan, and their auspicious directions are east, southeast, south and north. The evil side is the west, northeast, southwest and northwest.

Fanming hexagrams belong to Gan, Dui, Gen, and Kun. The auspicious side is exactly the opposite of the aforementioned four hexagrams. The Kyrgyz side is west, northeast, southwest, and northwest, and the bad side is east, southeast, south, and north.

Among the four auspicious stars, the most auspicious is anger, Tianyi is second to auspiciousness, Yannian is second, and abduction is again. Among the four evil stars, the most fierce is desperate, the five ghosts are the second fierce, the six evils are the second, and the evil is again. The life hexagrams of the head of the household are different, and the distribution of the eight stars is also different. The following is the distribution of the eight stars of the eight life hexagrams.

1. Gua Zhen-the anger is in the south, the heavenly doctor is in the north, the Yannian is in the southeast, the protuberance is in the east, the death is in the west, the five ghosts are in the northwest, the six evil spirits are in the northeast, and the evil is in the southwest.

2. Xun Gua-anger is in the north, Tianyi is in the south, Yannian is in the east, in the southeast, Destiny is in the northeast, the five ghosts are in the southwest, the six evil spirits are in the west, and the evil is in the northwest.

3. Li Gua-the anger is in the east, the heavenly doctor is in the southeast, the Yannian is in the north, the protuberance is in the south, the death is in the northwest, the five ghosts are in the west, the six evil spirits are in the southwest, and the evil is in the northeast.

4. Kan Gua-the anger is in the southeast, the heavenly doctor is in the east, the Yannian is in the south, the protuberance is in the north, the death is in the southwest, the five ghosts are in the northeast, the six evil spirits are in the northwest, and the evil is in the west.

Each hexagram in the gossip is governed by six relatives: Ganzhu father, Kunzhu mother, Zhenzhu eldest son, Sundanzhu eldest daughter, Kanzhu middle man, Lizhu middle girl, Genzhu young boy, and Duzhu girl. When a certain position in the house is unlucky, we can use the hexagram of that position to deduce who is the most auspicious; in the same way, which side is the most auspicious, we can also infer who benefits the most from the hexagram of this position.

Knowing the positions of the most important doors, stoves, beds, baths and toilets in Feng Shui, it is easier to judge the quality of Feng Shui by knowing where the four auspicious stars and four evil stars are located in the house.
