(1) Open the left door: In Feng Shui, a Mingtang in front of the door is considered auspicious. If there are greenery, flat ground, pool, parking area, etc. in front of the door, opening the middle door is the first choice. For example, if there is no Mingtang in front, it is better to open the left side.In other words, most of the doors should be opened from the left: the so-called green dragon on the left and the white tiger on the right. The green dragon on the left should move, and the white tiger on the right should be quiet, so all doors should be from the left. It is auspicious to open, which means that people should go from the inside out and the door handle should be on the left. If the door is opened upside down, it can easily lead to family disputes. It is not lucky to open the North Gate as the Xuanwu Gate. It is called the Ghost Gate in foreign countries, and it also means "losing the North". Therefore, you must be careful when you open the North Gate at home.

(2) When installing the gate, you must see whether the wood grain is smooth or reverse. Usually, the patterns from bottom to top are along the lines, and the patterns from top to bottom are inverted lines. Shun grain doors make the house peaceful and smooth, while reverse grain doors may make the house changeable and unsmooth.

(3) The height of the door must be in proportion. The standard is usually seven feet. A door that is too high will make people lose their sense of reason, greed and vainness, and look fierce. Doors that are too low and too small appear to be closed, things are not going well, and enthusiasm cannot enter, which may cause people to lose confidence in doing things or cause many setbacks.

(4) The door must not face the elevator: the door of the building's residence must not face the elevator door, which will cause damage to the fortune, and the residents are prone to illness.

(5) The door must not be straight to the window, back door or toilet : the door and window are the openings for the air to enter and leave the house. The door cannot be connected to the window and the back door in a straight line, forming the front and rear doors to pass through, so that the air is straight out and cannot be gathered in the house. Therefore, wealth cannot be gathered, so it is called retreat. The toilet is a space for people to excrete. It is not clean in nature, so the door should not be directly facing the toilet. Directing the door to the toilet will make financial investment mistakes and damage the wealth of family members.

(6) The entrance door and the living room should be set up: the key to Feng Shui is "happy to turn around, avoid going straight". The door and the living room are equipped with a porch or low cabinet shelter, so that the inside and outside are buffered, and the qi can be gathered in the living room after turning around. The inside of the house is also concealed, and it is not easy to peep outside. Hidden deep inside the home, a symbol of good fortune stretch.

(7) The outer door, the inner door, the inner door, etc. cannot be in the same straight line. This is the heart-piercing evil. The front and back doors cross each other, and the Lord's wealth cannot be gathered. In addition, the direct access to the door will cause a lot of trouble. If there are several rooms connected together in the house, you must not set up several doors that lead directly from the door to the end. Also, avoid a long corridor connecting several rooms in a row, like a hotel or restaurant, otherwise it is easy to have an affair or elopement. Safety is hard to guarantee.

(8) There should be no two or more colors on an independent door, otherwise, it will make people have a sloppy and repetitive effect.

(9) Try to avoid arched doors in the house. The circle represents movement, and the home is suitable for static, so it is greatly unsuitable. Moreover, the round arch is also very unlucky like a tomb gate. If it is beautiful, square arches can be used instead.

(10) The gate should open inward but not outward. Because the door is in the air, if the door is opened outwards, it will send the air of peace in the house, and the owner will lose luck and lose money.

(11) The way of the door: The doorway is the entrance of the residence, it should be clean and bright, and it is not suitable to accumulate debris to avoid hindering luck. Two doors should be avoided facing each other or overlapping and parallel, otherwise it will damage health, career and family peace; if two doors are biting each other, family members will often quarrel. When you open the door to see the wall or open the door to see the activities in another room, it will disturb the circulation of Qi in the human body and cause physical discomfort. Large rooms such as bedrooms and living rooms should have doors open, and small rooms such as bathrooms and kitchens should have small doors.
