Good feng shui needs blessed people to have it, which means that accumulating virtue and doing good are the root of good luck. So, do good deeds, and good luck will come naturally.

1. Sofa

(1) Choose the shape of the sofa according to the head of the household

The sofa and the dining table are the places where the family gathers together. It can be said to be the fire of the family. This position requires the Jiu Zi Xing to come, because the Jiu Zi Xing is a festive star, and it is a lucky star in the eighth luck of the next yuan. Pro will definitely improve family luck, and this year will be in the northwest and next year in the west.

The shape of sofa (or rosewood chair, etc.) is usually long, round and L-shaped in the five elements. When choosing the shape, we consider the birth festival of the head of the family:

Born from February 4 to April 3 in the new calendar, with a long sofa;

Born from May 5 to July 6, with a round sofa;

Born from August 7th to October 7th, with an L-shaped sofa;

Born from November 7 to January 4 of the following year, with a long sofa;

Born from April 4 to May 4, July 7 to August 6, October 8 to November 6, January 5 to February 3, with a long sofa.

(2) Avoid having no back on the sofa

Readers who have visited the Forbidden City in Beijing know that the backs of the palace chairs are made of marble. The reason is that there is a backrest. According to this principle, our office chairs and sofas must have a backrest. This backrest is the back of the chair. Although the sofa should be placed in auspicious position, it cannot be left empty behind (such as the door, etc.) because it lacks a sense of security. If the backside is really empty, you should only choose your back to the balcony, because you don't have to worry about someone coming in from the balcony.

(3) U-shaped sofa can help to absorb the air

The living room is the front desk of the house and is responsible for the festive reception. The sofa is the protagonist. The sofa should be warm and motivated. Therefore, Xiong Shenjin recommends that you use an L or U shape when setting up the sofa. You can gather qi to achieve prosperity. If you open the door to the balcony, and the living room has a wide area, in addition to setting up a hallway, we can also use a U-shaped sofa to absorb the air.

(4) The fish tank should not be placed behind the sofa

When I was contemplating the public, I discovered many times that readers put the goldfish bowl on the low cabinet behind the sofa. Because the low cabinet has a certain height, plus the height of the goldfish bowl, the phenomenon of "water showering" occurs. In feng shui, water drenches one's head and children and grandchildren are worried, so putting the fish tank behind the sofa is a feng shui big taboo. For the same reason, it is not advisable to place a drinking fountain behind the sofa.

(5) Hanging mirrors on the wall in the living room is a taboo

I have always opposed hanging mirrors on the walls of the living room. Some people think that mirrors make the living room look more transparent and spacious. In fact, mirrors have many taboos in Feng Shui. When a person sits on a sofa, others can see clearly in the mirror. When it comes to the back of the head of the sitting person, this is a taboo, so don't hang around casually.

2. Coffee table

The sofa and the coffee table are mutually coordinated furnishings. Feng Shui believes that the sofa is the shoes, the coffee table is the socks, the shoes are outside, the socks are inside, and the shoes are covered with socks, which is called Tibetan style and qi. The sofa should be tall and big, and the coffee table in front of the sofa should not be too big. The short coffee table will not be an eyesore, which is in line with Feng Shui's "sentimental" way. The coffee table should be below the knee. It is traditionally believed that too high a coffee table will cause children to disrespect their elders. The shape of the coffee table is rectangular, rounded or elliptical.

3. Combination cabinet

Combination cabinets, wardrobes and sacred cabinets are the tallest furniture in the family. They belong to the mountain in Feng Shui, and the combination cabinets are mostly used to place TV audio and various accessories. There is no obvious taboo on the height of the combined cabinet. Generally speaking, a taller and longer cabinet is better for a large living room, and a shorter and shorter cabinet is better for a small living room. Combination cabinets must also meet the feng shui requirements of "upper lightness and lower weight". "Upper lightness" refers to the simple decorations placed on the top few floors, and "lower weight" refers to the middle and lower parts of the cabinet for TV audio and so on.

From the perspective of feng shui, the high is the mountain, and the low is the water. The combination cabinets and sacred cabinets in the living room belong to the mountains, while the sofas, coffee tables, and dining tables belong to the water.
