Why is it best to sit north and south in the house?

In terms of feng shui, it is best to sit in the north and face the south, which is related to the two most important factors of the house: sunlight and air.

China is located in the northern hemisphere of the earth. Only when the residence is facing south, can it get the most suitable sunlight. In summer, you can avoid direct sunlight; in winter, you can get warm sunlight.

In most parts of China, the cold, dry northwest wind is shrouded in winter, and the warm, humid southeast wind in summer. The house faces south, just to avoid the cold wind and welcome the warm wind.

There are three Kyrgyz sides facing north and south: toward the southeast (anger), toward the south (yannian), and toward the east (tianyi). Other dwellings that sit on are considered good dwellings if they conform to the principle of "lighting, wind-shielding, and ventilation".
