Did the compass first come from the Song Dynasty?

According to the literature, the appearance of the compass was in the Song Dynasty.

Although Shen Kuo of the Northern Song Dynasty recorded four compass placement methods in "Mengxi Bi Tan", namely, the water float method, the bowl lip rotation method, the nail rotation method and the thread suspension method, they are not regarded as real compasses, and the earliest records of compasses. In the Southern Song Dynasty, Zeng Sanyi recorded in "Yinhualu": "Earth snails may have Ziwuzheng needles, or use Ziwu Bingren stitches... the righteousness between the north and the south of the heaven and the earth should be used as Ziwu, or the south of the river. It’s difficult to use Ziwu’s righteousness, so Bingren can refer to it.”

The "earth snail" here is the "diluo", and the "diluo" originated from the site. The main function of the site is to divide the column to the north. "Zhou Li·Ti Guo Jing Ye Shu": "The Road of North and South." "So the turf is also called the sutra, so the earth snail and the compass sutra all have the same meaning.
